Help how do I know?
 

Fastlane looks to have good prices but there are 2 types of disks for the rear of my 1996 500sl. One that is for ESP and one without ESP. My question is how do you know you have Electronic Stability program ESP? Did all the 1996 500sl have it? Thanks

There will be an ESP off switch on the console.

+1 on the ESP switch. Another good resource to find out whether or not your car has a certain option is to use the M-B Club of Russia's VIN decoder. Type in a VIN and you get back lots of good stuff.
