Thank You so much Stevebfl, Deanyel
I would just like to thank these guys for all thier
help with a major catastrophy on my 85 380SE. The guide rails broke, timing chain jumped and I bent 4 exhaust valves on drivers side. That was about 9 months ago and my car has been in my garage ever since. I havnt had much time to work on it, couldnt afford to take it to a shop and love her way to much to get rid of her!! These 2 guys and this forum is the only way it was possible for me to do this job myself. Also M.B.DOC and chuck Taylor gave me some great information too. Anyways she's almost done. replaced: 4 valves, all valve guides, timing chain, 3 guide rails, chain tensioner rail, pass. side cam and rockerarms, cam oilers both sides, head and manifold/exhaust gaskets, all injector seals and injector holders, all the black hoses, and all the vacuum t's y's 4way conectors ect. WOW what a job and an experience (or maybe adventure is a better word). all that is left is to connect the vacuum lines and and say a couple of prayers and start her up. So again my deepest and most heartfelt thanks to Mercedesshop forums Steve B. and Deanyel Sincerely, Don Tarrow Phx, AZ |

I can't remember doing anything, but assuming I did, you're welcome, and glad it turned out well.
