Car has gone haywire!! HELP!
Hi All,
I started my car (1990 300SE) yesterday afternoon and began to drive off when I noticed that the front dome light and seat belt warning lights were flashing erratically. I stopped the car, turned it off and restarted... same thing, flashing very erratically. As I began to drive home I noticed that the radio antenna was stuck about 8 inches up and not responding to the up/down switch. I turned off the radio, and then I noticed that the flashing lights had stopped. I turned the radio on to see if the antenna would go up or down to no avail, but I noticed that the dome light and red seat belt warning light were flashing again. Weird!! Radio off, lights stop. Radio on, lights flash. I got to my destination and tried to lock the car, now the locks are not working. Called my tech and he was perplexed. Today I got in the car to head to church, lights flashing for about 15-30 seconds with the radio off?!?! After church... no flashing. Any input would be greatly appreciated. By the way, I did smell something burning for a few seconds during all of this yesterday. Thanks |
Need the Pastor or Priest to exorcise her. LOL
I share your pain as I have a same car. The only thing not working now in mines is the heater, I am going to tore out the monjet valve rubber gasket & see. I am going crazy soon too. The rest of the car is beyond reproach except didnt pass emission test, running too rich. |
