URGENT NEED: Need to find EA Throttle (harness)
Guys, I have a 1994 C280. Expert tech at authorized BMW shop does sidework on Mercedes. Very good.
Anyway, he is replacing my headgasket. Unfortunately, the wire harness on the EA Throttle is falling apart -- he was able to get it off without further degradation and it may still work. However, it just isn't worth it for me to put that much more money into the car (at least $1,500 or so for the new part). Is anyone aware of a place to get them rebuilt or a place where I can find a salvage throttle? I'm in a bad way here -- any help is appreciated. THANK YOU

Lots of results if you do a little searching. I recently posted my experiences buying a rebuilt one from Beckmann Techonologies. $760 and I've been happy with it. BBA sells remans on ebay for about $400 as well.

Thanks. Yeah, I searched but was mostly finding discussion of engine harness.
I'll call them. I appreciate all input or ideas. Thanks,

It's probably just bad insulation - shouldn't be that hard to repair it.
