air fuel mixture?

im driving a 1987 420 sel...same guy with the shaking tires and the failing reverse clutch band..altho im not sold on the transmission issue

question for all the smart guys and gals out there....

1. if you are smelling gas inside the automobile, and have had the fuel lines repaired already at a quite reputable shop, then would one look at the air/fuel mixture, and if so is there an adjustment that i can make?
