Center armrest on '92 400E

The centerarmrest on my '92 400 is broken and doesn't look like its fixable. The cover is in reat shape, so I 'd hate to buy the whole thing from the dealer. Does anybody know where I can get a good used one, perhaps even the never style that opens up? As I understand the armrest is the same as on all W124's 86-92.
Thanks in advance,
F.J.

What exactly is broken on it? Some of the parts are replaceable...

It s the plastic frame under the foam thats broken. How it happened , I don't know, but it doesnt appear fixable to me.

Foam??? Whoa? I need to go outside and look at mine to see what you are talking about...

Someone on this site directed me to Caliber Motors for trim parts, and I was able to get an oddball part replaced on my SL for about $7. Perhaps he can help you.

See this thread for info...

Thanks for the thread referral. The armrest is quite different on the W129 SL, but I'm going to try and see if Caliber Motors can help me. Thanks again.
