M104 phantom hose connector
 

I moved my wiring harness to the side and discovered what appears to be a hose connection with nothing attached or close by. It's about 1/2" barbed connector on the right side of the head between the 4th and 5th injectors. I can't see anything hanging, or an obvious "other end" where a hose should go. Does anyone have any idea what should be attached there?

I might know what hose you're talking about, is it a CIS 104 or fuel injected 104? I know theres some 1/2in hoses on the CIS one,

It's fuel injected, and I can get a shot of it tonight.

93 300E 2.8, and here's a picture.

OK.. "93/104 is HFM/SFI ..wit a fuel rail. I do';t see the hose you are talking about , but if it is on the LEFT side , it may be either the Purge Valve or the FP regulator.

You mention Right side. Do you really mean right side?

Driver's side. In the picture it's at 335 degrees from my thumb, right between the two injectors.

Anyway, nothng goes there .I think that is assembly fixture at manufacture..
I have one right here and it is vacant..
