I bought the tensioner about 80 ish Cdn $.
Is pretty quiet now. One of those things just cannot go to a spring shop to buy another one, as we dont know the tensile strength , specs.
Also the plunger could be leaking more oil than its allowed.
Still a few vac lines cant seem to know where's coming & going.
Right on the head area there 2 vac lines, It seems to open or close vac when temp hits.

I'll go to the Library to dig out the thick MB Bible to check.
Or anyone has a 190e2.3 Vac lines diagram here?
TIA.

I say the job has gone OK.

thanks a million.
The trouble with these cars I dont think I have EGR valve, My vac advance is not on the distributor anymore.
Maybe that temp vac switch is redundant anyways.
I go look more carefully.

hi SLK
The fuel regulator runs a small hose from the crankcase & PCV valve.

Was mine hooked up wrong?
My Volvo's reg use Vac to control. When idling car gets max vac, so it diverts most gas pressure back to tank, when throttle the vac drops , more gas pressure builds up. As Fuel injectors require more fuel.
