W210 spring pearch
 

I noticed that everybodys consent that the spring pearch problem does not affect the station wagons...how about this unit on ebay,item # 330316583038

Can't imagine that the station wagons would be immune. Maybe the fact that there aren't so many wagons is a factor.

I don't know what the question is. You can fix it for lots less than that. Yeah, any of them WILL do it. From what I have seen (which hasn't been anything lately) the V8s and Diesels do it a little more often. I wonder if this car has been kept near the ocean where salt air might have caused the rust, or if it has a prior history up in the Rust Belt? Anyways......if someone lives where it doesn't need to long of a tow, it would be a good deal at that present price.
I am still curious if anyone has tried putting in 4matic perches????
