What's this thing?

It's a vacuum thingy of some sort. Mine's got a crack in it.....

Any ideas what it does or what it's called? 1990 300SE (M103)

I think it kinda "absorbs" fluctuations in the vacuum draw....its a little reservoir of sorts...just a hollow piece of plastic with an opening at each end.

Actually, it's got 3 connections. One of them goes to a fairly large hose that goes into the fender.......

I'm trying to find out what it's called so I can find a replacement....

I'm thinking it's for evap system, will try checking around.

Found it, it's the purge valve, for the evap system.
