removing power steering
 

need help on taking off power steering pump on 94 e420 is there 4 bolts on the back that i need to take aloose or just the front 2 bolts could somereone give some insight on this because i cross thresded the female end need to take off an have it rethreaded :confused:

The complete P/S pump bracket must first be removed & then you can un-bolt the pump from the bracket.

MB labor guide suggests 4.5-5 hrs!

thanks mbdoc found that out this morning do i have to put it back in all together cause i have to put the high pressure hose on b ecause mine is leaking n how do get back in there to get the screw out on the end with the coil end on. the reason i had to pull the pump was i cross threaded the female end of the the pump like a dummy:confused:
