Just wondering what everyone here on the list drives...as well as what your favorites are(new or old)

To start... I have a
140 S Class

My personal Favorite Benzes

1. 140 S class
2 129 SL Class
3. 140 S Class Coupe
4. Later 126(90-91) Coupe
5. Later 126(90-91) Sedan

124 convertible is definitely an honorable mention in my list also

See signature below for my favorite MBZ.

Truthfully, I have a friend who owns 7 Benzes. Buried in his stable is a perfect 500E. I've been badgering him (begging is more like it) for 3 years about that car. It hasn't been out on the road very much. He'd rather sell his C43 (did I get that right?) than the 500E. I figure I need the E much, much more than he does.

I have a Black 1991 190e 2.6 with a 5, count em 5, speed standard stick transmission, sans slush box.

My favorite is a Unimog. I think thats the most unique thing on wheels.

I keep chuckling about someone's post in the past about their diesel W123 car. It seems their wife or significant other asked the question "So, which do you like the best, the noise or the smell?"

I wouldn't want to give up either one in the '82 300D.

I bought my first Mercedes recently, a 1991 300CE with only 25,000 miles. The instrument lights went out last night, so I'm hoping it's only a fuse, but, so far, I'm having a lot of fun with it.

I've always been partial to SL's.

I enjoy my W124 the most because I can service more stuff on it...and its fun to drive. Not 500E raw power, but enough for regular speeds. Plus, it was a luxury car when introduced, so for a daily driver, it's nice that it's fully loaded.

The wife drives the 500SL almost exclusively, so I never get to drive it (unless it's almost out of gas or it has to get serviced).

Beginning to enjoy the ML a bit more, as I am doing some work on the W124 right now, and wanting to take my time. So now I'm driving the ML to work, liking the heightened view like all of the other trucks and SUVs I see.

92 300D 2.5 turbo and 84 300D turbo is what I drive now

If I had to choose a favorite benz, it would be a S600 fully loaded with TV's, DVD, etc.

The Gullwing, of course, but I have always been partial to 230/250/280 SLs. I love the dependability and handling of my w124, and the coupe and wagon w124 are timeless in their looks. I am just growing acquainted with the w202 C class, but the gas mileage is a good relationship builder, and I think that the AMG suspension will bring it within reach of the shifter cart handling I enjoy from my 300E Sportline.

I like Benz Wagens, but my alltime favorite is the 500E...I'm lucky to have one. Wouldn't trade it for any other sedan on the road (except for maybe a 500E with a 6.5 litre motor)

I would choose a '92-'93 500E. Although I own a '92 400E (80K), which I love, the 500E is the ultimate "wolf in sheep's clothing". I love the flared front fenders, among other things the 500E has to offer. I have a friend with a stock 500E who told me that he once raced and outran a Ninja bike from a stoplight.

I also like 300SEL 6.3, 300CE, and 230/250/280SL. Finally, my first Mercedes, a 1980 300SD (sold w/ 249K) was nothing fancy but absolutely trouble free for the entire time I owned it.

I currently own a 1983 300D astral silver and blue MB-tex.
Love it, engine and tranny sound/feel perfect! Body nice, interior nicer.
Someday would like a 1981-1985 300SD and a early 1980s 240D with manual tranny. Think owning a mercedes diesel that you have to shift would be a blast!
