WOW. Nice car! Is this the one that cost $1200?!!? I am so going out west for my next car!

I need to get a Euro Gasser sometime.....that'd be a fun ride. :D

I just pulled a 2.47 off of the same exact car in the local yard....it was blue with blue cloth interior though, and had covered 330k.. It was "well driven"....dead paint and lots of rust.

Yes, I had to put a battery in it and I paid to have it detailed. It has an exhaust leak, needs a driver side seat switch but other wise in excellent condition. Miles of service history.

That car has like every feature too! Same interior color as both of my cars....looks beautiful! Heated front and rear seats + rear recline?....I need to find myself one of these uber W126's....

Nice car!

Notice that the AC isn't the euro...

My 83 has the euro AC but too bad its decided to fail since I last used it which was awhile.
Shucks I know you are supposed to run it periodically
I'm hoping its a fuse or maybe I forgot hpw to get it on..
took a while for me to figure out the controls as they are not in the US manual...

Anyway a Euro AC control should look like this...
Anyone know which buttons to push to get it to work?

Most euro's had the manual hvac system. Some, including 2 of mine had the option for ACC like all the US models came with.

The temp wheel should have a switch at the MIN and MAX positions, if you set the wheel all the way to min, the switch should engage the compressor. Otherwise I believe the snowflake rocker switch should be used to engage the compressor. Set the fan speed and select the vent position and off you go.

Fanfar horn too!! No fair. :D Does it still work? I pulled a set off a euro a while back at the yard (switch too) but they were dead. All I got was a "buhuhuhuhuh" weak sound from one. The other was dead. :o

Very nice looking vehicle. I've always liked the look of a well-maintained 126, especially a Euro. I really like those Euro headlight wipers.:)
