knocking from suspension/steering

Hi all,
Yes my 97 E300 TD 192k has another problem that i can't fathom out.
It has had arb link arms, shocks, track control arm bushes, upper and lower balljoints. (all done in the last year) and most recently track rods,
If i reverse then brake 'clunk' forward and brake 'clunk' bounce up or down a kerb you guessed it 'clunk'

What i would like to know is, can you put the track control arm bushes in wrong? as they are not round if i remember rightly (the aluminium body is but the rubber isn't) causing them to fail earlier than expected, if not has anybody got any ideas as to what my 'clunk' is

Cheers.
Paul.
