Did you loosen the big 19mm bolt on the tensioner and then adjust some slack into the system with the tensioner adjustment bolt? If you don't give it a good amount of slack that belt won't be going back on.

Did you remove the fan or leave it installed? It is possible to do it with the fan on, but takes some patience.

Where is this 19mm bolt located? The tensioners on my enging are like rollers with only one bolt in the center after removing the dust cover.

I left the fan on.

On the right side of the engine there is an arm with an arrow thing on it and a somewhat vertical adjustment rod/bolt, on this assembly there's a big 19mm bolt. Loosen that, then turn the adjustment rod bolt to add slack to the system. How did you get the belt off without doing this first? Cut it?
