Mine came from the factory with Pilkington.
My W220 S-Class is marked on each window with "Pilkington." I figure if they make the" Double-Duper, Super, protect you from the flash of nuclear fusion" windows on the S for MB they are well suited to make just about any automotive window out there. I've replaced plenty windows on various MB's using Glass America and they always use Pilkington replacements with marvelous results even many years later. They even slap the proper sticker on the front glass and it doesn't even show up on the invoice as a "charge" item.

PIlkington's fine
My new screen was ordered from MB, fitted by local garage and is excellent.
It has Pilkington as the manufacturer and an MB start to boot! RayH |

The Smoke Silver 1990 560SEC I just sold last month had its windshield replaced with a Pilkington, and it is fine, no clouding or optical distortion.
It's fine, I would be very happy to get Pilkington, if it was needed again. They are good glass windshields, the Pilkington.
