190e 2.6 Manual Transmission Woes
Driving down the freeway this afternoon, and suddenly, the clutch pedal would not disengage on the down position. I pulled the car over and I was able to retract the pedal to its normal position. When I started to move the car I would hear a grinding noise. I may have two possible issues - the clutch master cylinder and the clutch flex disk. Is this the correct diagnosis and is this a straight forward DIY job?

Most like the clutch hydraulics, either masrer or slave cylinder.
How many miles on the clutch itself?

I do not have the complete service records on the car so I could not tell you for sure. The car has over 200K+ miles on it.

At that mileage could be a worn out clutch as well!

I think this is the case and it's time to bring it to the mechanic. Thanks!
