Thumbs up 190E Brake Question

Hey everyone,

Since I'm posting up about all my car troubles I figure I would cover all my cars.

I have my 93 190E 3.0 and I have a custom brake setup on it (all Mercedes ofcourse)

Front: E420
Rear: SL600
Master Cyl: 500E (ATE Typ 200 fluid) (replaced 2/20/08)
Stainless Steel brake lines all around
PBR MetalMaster XBR Pads (replaced 2/23/09)
PBR Rotors (replaced 2/23/09)

First off...I havent driven the car that much in the past month...

I drove it a bunch today..I noticed at highway speeds I seem to have full braking ability 80mph to 50-60s mph with a quarter pedal..

However when I brake in-city from doing like 25-30s I have to press the pedal all the way to the floor to get it to stop. Also the brake squeal as I do so. I thought it was rust accumulated on the rotors but thats all gone now...

I dont quite know too much about braking system, other than basic principles...

I do know that, to me, my pedal feels softer than my 300SD which has two year old front brake calipers....

If you guys have any ideas..I'm interested in hearing them..

Thanks

Kris
