Another problem - NO interior lights (wiring diagrams needed)
On my '91 300CE - no interior lights, except for the ashtray light, the dome lights work, the bottom of the passenger door light works, but not the driver's side. Turn signal lights work as does the blue, brights headlight indicator light, and all of the warning lights illuminate like they are supposed to when you turn on the key.
No instrument cluster lights, climate control lights, radio lights, glove box light, or shift indicator light. Any help? Wiring diagrams anyone? ryan

Replaced all the fuses in the fuse box yet? That would be the first thing to do if you haven't.

Pulled the instrument cluster today - the red fuse looked fine, but I have a bad rheostat. I jumped the connection on the back of the instrument cluster (where the rheostat plugs in) and I got lights - all of them!
Question: Do you even need the rheostat? I can't ever remember wanting my Mercedes dash lights dimmer! Will the trip odometer reset still work? ryan
