94 E420 Road Trip Maintenence
I have a 94 e420 with 136k miles. I will be taking it on a long road trip this summer and there are a few things that should be fixed on this car but I am not sure if I can get all of these things done. I was hoping to get some other opinions on which jobs should be a priority.
Heres the list: - Power steering leak - flex disks have never been changed - wheel bearings have never been changed or repacked - bad tie rod Thanks in advance for the advice.

Inspect the flex discs for cracks, front one takes the most punishment.
Check the outer wheel bearings & re-pack OR replace as needed. Fix the P/S leak & take MB fluid with you. Change the fuel filter.

I would take a long look at the belt tensioner/idler thingy. I had one let loose in Eastern Washington on a Sunday afternoon 90 miles from the nearest town. The car was an '87 300E with 125K Slowed to 30 mph and ground my way westward to Wenatchee.
