usual problem. driver's seat spring sags. passanger seat hardley used. possible to switch? am willing to 'dispense' with seat height adjustment lever. thank you.

It can be done, I've done it before while I sent my drivers seat to get the broken seat springs welded.

I have the same problem with my '83 300 cd drivers seat. Busted spring. I have checked several upholstry shops about having the spring welded, but they advise against that, saying that the weld would not hold over time. Is there any special type of welding involved?
