OBD Code Reader
Which code reader will my 1992 300SE use the OBD I or OBD II? Which model would you suggest? Just looking for a DIY model not a professional one.

Aurher - I will go ahead and try to build my own however, I've seen two renderings of the drawing. One has a 0.5 amp fuse and fuse holder on the yellow lead and one does not. How important is the fuse and what is it protecting? |
Some put it there for polarityprotection, but it is not needed b/c the diode is foward biased ..so it can not be hooked up wrong and if the diode opens , there is no circuit.
If you want it , put it in the pos side of the circuit. |
