Fast idle 380 SL
 

Hi everyone! I am new to the forum and the timing was appropriate. I own a 1984 380 SL. The idle is very fast in park/neutral @ 1800-2000 RPM. Drops to 750-800 in drive. What can be done to control/lower the idle. I am green w/the 350, but can wrench (have other Porsches, Noble, etc) and restore cars as a hobby. Thanks in advance for your help. :)

Computer controlled idle computer, powered by over-voltage relay.

Most likely a blown fuse in that relay...above fuse box.
