air reservoir accumulator--purging air on 300te?

my friend just put in the drivers side rear air resovoir atop the strut as needed--what we are worried about is that when it was changed out from the old one, air is leaked into the resovoir and this could be bad, i dont know--what can we do to drain the air out of it? the liquied looked fine n bubbles.
and was the missing washer the only reason my air reservoir was acting funny on driver's side causing me to bounce around like a baby buggy?

I wouldnt mind sending it back--oh, and my pasenger side feels fine leading me to beleive I'm spending uneccesary money! besides, he told me the passenger side accuulator is MUCH harder to do and would take a half day to do--why is that?

That is a self bleeding system. Raise the idle to 1500RPM for 5-10 minutes in P.

Doc,

Would weighting down the back end (about 200 lbs) to get it to raise up, and then unweighting to get it to lower, help "bleed" any air?

The accumulator contains a membrane and nitrogen gas- there is no air to leak into or out of it.

No.

You should have replaced both.
