420SEL Gas Mileage
What is everyone else getting for mileage in their 420SELs? I am getting 14.5-15 city driving and 18-20 highway mileage depending on speed, traffic and hills.

That's about what I get when/if I keep the go-pedal off the floorboard.

420 SEL mileage
Jason-
that's about right on the money. During my weekly commuting, I typically get 15 mph. On highway trips, I can go as high as 22.5-23, if its a long straight haul; or 20 on short highway drives. You're OK. In range. |

That's what I'm getting (18-20 highway). I live in the boondocks so I don't get much city driving (thank God). I have noticed that mileage in my car if very sensitive to the way I drive. If I get the least bit heavy on the peddle, the gas mileage really drops.

Same car with diesel (S350) gets 25-30 mpg. I have never gotten less than 25. Not quite as fast as 420, but same comfort amenities.
