Brittle vacuum lines
All the clear vacuum lines in the engine bay ('89 560 SEL) are brittle and the connectors may on the dry side. I'd like to replave with the same color-coded line, is it available? If so, what should I ask for? If not, is standard black vacuum line an acceptable substitute? Thanks for any input.

They are available...
but, I do not know what they are called "vacuum lines"?. They sell them by the foot at any MB dealer.
May be Fastlane would sell them. Put a request through Fast lalne or Partshop. Good luck!

You can pick it up at the dealer dirt cheap. They sell them by the foot.
