blowing fuses- door (W124) Help
I was hoping I could get some help-
I'm blowing a fuse in the drivers door/passenger right rear door circuit. Some have suggested with no help of resolution- broken harness wires in the door/center post on the rhs. Do you have any experience with this as I can't seem to find the short. Maybe I'm completely lost on diagnosis skills. I was hoping to find a connection in the center post so I could disconnect it and then somehow check.. I'm lost on this one and don't feel like arbitrarly splicing in new sections of wire without finding the problem. Is there a way to get the window all the way up???????? |

To get the window up: open the door and move it in and out. It won't hurt to have a large handful of fuses, you're going to blow a few more. |
#1 question is when does the fuse BLOW? If the problem is is in a certain window the fuse will blow ONLY when you operate that switch.
#2 is what year car?? The 1986-89 have 1 system & the 1990-95 use a different system. |
