Tune up 300SE
 
I want to tune up my 300SE & don't know what I should tackle as a DIYer. Plugs - I see the wires travel underneath this metal housing in the top/center of the engine. Where is the distributor? Or is this fuel injectors? 1989. Did not delve into anything yet.

Any other valves, filters can I change myself?

Car acting little sluggish - especially when cold.

Plug wires are held in a plastic channel on the cam cover.

Distributor is on the front of the cam cover. Remove plastic cover (lift straight up) and you will find it, shaft runs horizontally off the front of the cam.
