Color of oil in manual gear box
Hello to very body it is along time that i have not posted any subject.
Changed oil of manual gear box, oil has been bought at mercedes dealer. Color of new oil was white ( yellowish) while old one was red. Is it OK? thanks for reply

Bonjour.
The old fluid was probably ATF, which is what many manuals use nowadays to provide easier shifting, especially when cold. There are a variety of different oils available, however, but at a minimum you should verify that it is an approved oil for the transmission. Then if the shifting is OK for you I wouldn't worry about it. Otherwise, I would go back to the Dexron III ATF, which should also be on the approved list for manual transmissions.
