What the hell did I buy? (part number related)
Hey guys,
About two years ago I bought a pair of what I THOUGHT were a pair of european headlights for my W126 sedan. When I went to install them today they wouldn't fit! I need to find out what model these euro lights are for so I can trade/sell them for a pair that fits my car. Here are the part #s , they are bosch units 1 305 235 051-R 1 305 235 050-L Google and multiple searches on forums turned up zero. Any ideas? Thanks guys! |
Post a picture of the lights---it can be difficult to find by
Bosch part number. Mark |
Remember, a W126 part starts with 126. 305 sounds like a truck of some sort.
|
The 305 is indeed a truck....its a BUS! :D Do the lights look like those on this bus? Its a 1980's MB O-305 tour bus....
Any pics of the lights? http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i3...0/SMALL_23.jpg |
those are bosch numbers, not mercedes
appears those numbers fit a w123 chassis |
Ha Ha,bus lights huh? I hope not,I doubt there is much of a market for those lenses!
Yeah, I think these are bosch part numbers, not mercedes. I think they might be W123 but they don't have those wavy looking horizontal lines like pictures of those lights seem to. Are W123 sedan and coupe lights the same or different? And here's some pics http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/3475/p1010646.jpg http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/3360/p1010643k.jpg http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/5564/p1010645.jpg |
Those look like 123 lights to me. Coupe and Sedan are the same. Mark

dont worry you can always find someone looking for a set of 123 euros, but you couldnt tell they were double the size of a 126 headlight?
