Door pannel hung up

Hello out there!
I have a 90 420 SEL and the window wont go up or down. I am trying to remove the door panel and get all the way through it until the panel is free except the handle mechanism. Just can't firure out how to un hook the rods from the pull handle itself. In fact, I can't pry open the panel enough to get to the rods or linkage. Any thought would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If I understand you so far!

The black plastic liner directly behind the door opening latch needs to be removed with a small flat bladed screwdriver. Then the small Philips Head screw which is behind that is removed releasing the chromed door opening latch surround. With that off to should be able to move the surround enough down the upholstered door pull to get at the large Philips Head screw that secures the top of the door pull to the door itself. With that don the panel is lifed straight upwards, you will also need to have unscrewed the lock knob, and the and the padded trim section along the rear window channel as well as the mirror cover trim on the front doors. Don't forget to remove and disconnect the convenience lights along the door panel's bottom edge. Sounds like you already found and removed the two large Philip's Head screws holding the armrest in place and the two small ones and the chrome trim near the door's latch.

Oh! and you've unscrewed the two screws which secure the seat switch in place so you don't have the switch stems hanging out there to get broken off.
