1989 300 TE..starts then stops after five secs
 

One morning my 300TE started up as usual ran for five seconds and quit..started up again ran for five secs quit..this is what it does over and over...is it a sensor??? seems like something is telling it to shut down??? Just thought i would ask here before i tow it off to the dealer....thanks for any help i can get!!!:cool:

Search OVP.

Don't tow it off to the dealer quite yet, stalling is very common and we should be able to save you a lot of money on here.

The OVP is located behind battery. Pop off the cover and make sure the fuse is still good on it first.
