I think 236.10...but its backwards compatible and should be equal or of better quality.
Replaced the Valeo radiator today, but I'm gonna say fluid is original. Its pretty damn black/brown. No trace of the Dexron "red" color in there.... Sending it off to blackstone labs to make sure no traces of coolant. http://www.w124-zone.com/downloads/p...ator/rad12.jpg http://www.w124-zone.com/downloads/p...ator/rad10.jpg |
Had anyone tried the mobile ATF 200 oil?
It got a mercedes aproval 236.2 and says automatic transmission fluid. Will this work in a 722.6? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...cc68851efe.jpg Sendt fra min LON-L29 med Tapatalk |

Really Odd when you reading the label on the mobile ATF 200 it says automatic transmission fluid. See My attached picture

It is. Another "lifetime" VML user hear. The 275,000 mile tranny loves it apparently. As did the W124s and a 96 W210 before it.

My 97 722.6 is going in 3 years and 40k miles on Valvoline maxlife. 236k miles total. My 02 722.6 just got it's fill of maxlife a month ago (148k miles total. Both shift beautifully.

For a while I was buying fluid at the dealer, which to be entirely honest if you get any kind of discount really isn't that unreasonably priced. But I started using Valvoline MaxLife in my 722.6s anyway because I had a few cars that needed serviced, and have tens of thousands of miles on several .6s with Maxlife in them over several years and have had no issues.

this mobil 200 is not usable in your 722.6 transmission as it does not have the additives and neither the base stocks to sustain the churning of the semi applied torque converter clutch that this transmission has.
You need a 236.10 12 or 14 ATF, this is 236.2 - which is basically a dexron or dexron II fluid - and in your car the applicable place is the power steering |
Unless he has SLS that calls for 344.0 fluid.
