W126 Bumpers
 

1990 300SEL (W126)

Tomorrow I'm off to the salvage yards in search of bumpers. I'll be taking a truck and not the 1990 300SEL that I need the bumpers for.

Does anyone know FOR SURE the full list of years and models that will have bumpers that will fit? I'm sure they all look similar, but I'm sure I can't return them once I buy them.

Don't be so sure.... The pick n' pull in my area will let you return most items, why not ask the cashier?

Pick and Pulls in my area offer no cash refunds. You're only allowed to exchange parts and/or receive credit for them upon the returned part.

I have been going to a little salvage yard I recently found - amusing people own it, very old timesy.

Turns out the Cash For Clunkers program did us some good - the yards now have an increased stock of cars. Found a 560SEL, bumpers are perfect fit, very good shape, $200 for both front and rear and I'm very happy with that.

Problem solved, thread finished for me.
