2002 E320 brakes - no EBC?
 

The 2002 E320 W210 does not have the EBC brakes that can "explode" while you are working on them, correct?

The EBC brake system was introduced on the 2003 W211, correct?

We want to replace rotors and pads, and don't want to lose any fingers!!!

the 210s dont have sensatronic brakes.

EBC = brand of brake parts

SBC = sensotronic brake control, first on W211 E-class

Without electronic disabling, the SBC system can apply hydraulic pressure to the brakes, not so good when your fingers are there. Nothing "explodes."

The fact you're not referencing WIS procedures to perform this task is not good.
