What Power Steering and Transmission Fluid to use in my 1996 E320??

Hello all!

Would anyone know what power steering fluid and transmission fluid can be used in my 1996 E320? I am looking to use something other than what can be purchased at the MB dealer.

Someone told me that Pentosin is to be used for the power steering?

If anyone can also recommend a place to purchase these fluids........I would really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance

Your trans was designed for Dexron 3 ATF & that can also be used in the P/S system.

OF course synthetic Dexron would be better.
