400E diff swap questions

So I have a 2.65 ASR diff from a '95 E320.

I want to bolt it in to my '92 400E with ASR.

I have a spare 400E diff. Side by side the two diffs look very similar. I know I have to change the rear cover & the driveshaft flange/yoke.

But the million dollar question is, will the 400E axles bolt on to the axle flanges from the E320?

The axle flanges look the same but have different part numbers.

Any ideas
