A friend is considering whether to keep or sell his clk, it has 160Kmiles on it. Cosmetically and mechanically very nice, but was wondering how much life the engine has left on it. He bought it when it had 29Kmiles on it about five years ago, so he's put alot of miles on it.

Feedback on the engine or other high mileage issues (tranny?) that he might expect to encounter would be appreciated.

Have seen M112 engines with over 400K & never apart!

Would depend on previous service frequency.

Unless the transmission was serviced....could be at the end of it's life!
