What tranny in my 1977 450 SL?

Can anyone tell me what transmission is in my 1977 450 SL? Did they make a 4 speed transmission for this car or is it a 3 speed? Thanks

auto trans in 77 450sl

I have a77 450s; and have 3rd transmisson (total of 133000 miles). Its a 3 speed auto transmission( durability including mercedes rebuilt is lousy! Good luck Abe G
