1990 300TE slow to engage reverse
I think I suck at the search, I know there are threads about this, can someone point me in the right direction?

That's just a start. You'll have to keep searching and refining your searches to hone in on more detailed info. But that thread I posted gives a pretty good idea of what *could* be wrong...

Reversing problems generally mean that the transmission is on the way to a rebuild.
Getting the fluid and filter looked at. If there is much debris in the filter pan then it may require replacement of clutches or worse case rebuild. This is a common problem. |
