190E 2.3 Creaking Noise...

Hey guys, long time no post.

Anyways I've got a wicked creaking noise coming from the front passenger side of my car. Pretty sure I have a bad bushing or something needs lubrication. Anytime the wheel moves up or down it creaks like hell.

Anyone know what this might be? I'm gonna put it up on ramps later today and have a look, but just wanted to see if any of you could point me in the right direction/tell me what to look for.

The car is getting a laundry list of stuff done to it over the next few months, I'll start another thread about that later...

Thanks,
Colin

It's most likely the ball joint. My 190E had those exact symptoms a few years ago and it was the ball joint. They tend to dry out and tighten up with age, causing the creaking.
