Need 300TE specs, for rear suspension modification

Anyone have any of this info:
  • Front vehicle weight
  • Rear vehicle weight
  • Front and rear unsprung weights if they are disproportionally high
  • Spring rate
  • Spring motion ratio (the amount that the spring moves per unit of wheel travel)
  • Shock motion ratio (the amount that the shock moves per unit of wheel travel)
  • Mount configuration
  • Angle off vertical that the shock mounts
  • Either the desired extended and compressed lengths, or the mounted length as the vehicle sits on level ground

Hmmm... I'm sensing that someone is looking into changing out the rear self-leveling & Hydromatic shocks for maybe... air-bagged rear suspension?

I've been working on the same question on my 1990/1992 wagons with dead/dying rear suspensions...

Standard shocks that can be re-valved or knob adjustable like Konis. I looking for comparable spec'd shocks so I can design the mounts.

Don't you have the owners manual? My 1990 300TE manual lists all of those things, plus more....good luck

The specs in the manual are not what I've listed.
