Question Mass air sensor change DIY ?

I need to change a mass air sensor on a 99 ML320. I would like to change it myself. Can I do it without any high-tech electronic stuff. I have all the tools but I am worried about computer re-sets or the like.

Thanks in advance for any help.

MAF unit

Alvin;
replacing the air flow meter is as easy as it looks.
If there are codes stored you'll have to visit a shop or dlr. to reset.
