How to use Actron 9125 scanner

Guys - not sure where to post this question. I know how to read and clear the basic codes with this scanner. However it also seems to read and report on MIL, Misfire, Catalyst, and a few other (five total) things. What the heck are these readings for? I think, according to the worthless manual, that there are five entries like this. Sometimes it says "4 Ready" but I do not know where to go from there.

I realize this is a cheap scanner and it works to identify things like bad O2 sensors and it resets the Service Engine Light OK. But is it designed to give me more information that for some reason I cannot access?

Using it on a 1999 Land Rover Disco II.

Thx

Those sounds like those could be OBDII emissions readiness tests. MIL is malfucntion indicator light (trouble light), The number of misfiers, any catalyst codes, etc...

Never used an Actron, so I could be way off.
