1990 560 Sel - What is the switch that's located on the console between the left and

Can someone tell me what the switch is between the left and right seat heater switches on the console?

Also, The transmission is quick to go into a forward gear but takes 2-3 times longer to go into reverse. Should I be worried about anything at this point?

Also, I've looked on EBay but no one has owner's manuals for my car for sale. Anybody here know how I can order a set?

Thanks.

If it is the same as my 500SEL, it will be the control for the rear retractable window blind. I managed to get my handbook from my local dealer who had to order it for me from Germany I think and it took about 4 weeks to arrive. If you really get stuck, let me know and I can order one for you from here, cost me about $20, I think. This is the owner's handbook that lives in the glovebox right ? :)

if the switch looks like a sideways exclaimation point, it switches the horn from "city" to "country" mode. Flip it, press the horn and see. As far as the owners manual goes...I have a 1987 560SEL which I am sure is 90% the same as a 1990. If you can't find a manual and you just want to know what's what, let me know and I'll photocopy mine and send it to you.

Thanks for all your help. It is a sideways exclamation point. As for manuals I'll be in touch if I can't find one.
