420 SEL Window motor/gearbox?
Can these parts be separated and the gearbox fixed? Mine sounds and acts like teeth are missing but probably misaligned? Motor works fine. Anybody done this?

I have revived several stuck Bosch window motors by doing that and greasing the worm gear, but none sounded like that. They were just stuck.

But you were able to disassemble the gearbox from the motor and open it?

By unscrewing the two screws at the motor attachment, I could pull the motor worm gear out.
