5 Beeps coming from inside vehicle after recharge of battery
 

Hi guys, my old mate came home from holidays to find his 95 c190 had a flat battery, he recharged the battery started the car but now he is getting 5 beeps (sounds )coming from the dash ( some sort of warning code ?) Because of the flat battery he opened the door with the key, Do you guys think the 5 beeps is telling him he has to reset somthing.. regards baz

plug in seat belt and see if the beeps go away

Re the 5 beeps, firstly its a 95 C180 not 190, we isolated the problem over the phone ( he is in the country & I am in the city) & he removed a fuse one by one until the test light connected to the battery went off. We now think it may be a door lock relay. I dont know where the relays are on that model can any of you guys help with there location. cheers baz
