Awesome!

One of my precats is not hollowed because the exhaust guy I guess never thought I'd notice the one off to an angle....so this would be a good time for me to get that sorted out. I found out when I rebuilt my head and saw one precat still intact. It was a little infuriating...but another story. I gotta get the car smogged in a few days so I hope it doesn't cause me any problems. I do have a brand new main cat though.

I'll check all the cooler lines and replace if need be. I also have a new transmission mount I got a long time ago in my parts box.

Any thoughts on why it would do this?

Would the K1 shift kit increase transmission longevity at all? Excuse my ignorance. I read it fixes flaring, but I have not experienced any myself. The swap looks easy enough though.

I am going to be pulling it probably next weekend. I am just finishing up my order for parts

What I have right now:
K1 shift kit
Front pump oil seal
6 cooler line crush washers (17c each so I'll get 2 more just in case)
Dipstick o ring
Transmission mount

What about the rear seal? I have heard of these...any input on it?

do the rear main now or you'll regret it when it starts leaking.

I will do the rear main seal, but I plan to leave the transmissions internals alone as persuaded earlier in the thread. The transmission is young and has been fully serviced all its life and there are no issues with it other than the 2-3 shifting flare which the K1 will fix and the leak, so I see no reason to take her apart when it could last another 100k+ miles without nary an issue

Anybody with experience have any tips/info on the rear main seal? I know its not leaking, but I might as well do it.
