Opinions on buying a CLK-320

I'm looking at a 1999 CLK-320 with 123K on it. They are asking $7995 and I'm trying to find out if it's a fair price but more importantly how reliable they are. It looks to be in good shape and it drives very nice, a bit heavy but has the power to deal with that. What is the general consensus on this model?

Just like any MB, have a pre-purchase done at trusted MB shop.

The biggest item other than the engine is the TRANS & fluid changes with MB fluid is the key to LONG life.

I think $7995 for a 6-cyl CLK with that many miles is a bit steep...
