Question ventilation problem on 300E

Hello, I have a 1992, w124 300E, and I am wondering, are there any warm air be supply to the vent on top of the central console, as I only have cold air come out from it, what ever I set the temperature setting!!!

Beside of that, should there be any air supply to the temperature sensor hose, which mount on the interior lighting console, on the roof of the car?? and what and where is the 'supplier' of it??

and also, where is the circulating pump for the ventilation???

Thanks in advanced!!

No warm air to the center vents on a 124 or 201...

There is a small electric motor and tube connected to the inside temp probe. Follow the tube under the glove box.

The circulating pump is for heat and is located on the right side of the engine.

I've asked the same question to my mechanic and he told me that only cold air comes out of the center vents.

Center vents shut off during heating

Greetings Gary,

You shouldn't be getting any air flow from the center vents in the heating mode. The damper on the center vents will only open when you request a much cooler temp than the interior or somewhere I found to be around 70 degrees on the temp wheel.
